Dr. Irene Dolan - Visiting Women's Health GP

With a wealth of varied and diverse clinical and non-clinical experiences, I am a General Practitioner committed to delivering holistic and compassionate care. My work spans general practice, homeless health care, sexual health, hospital medicine, and occupational health, allowing me to support individuals from all walks of life.

Beyond clinical medicine, I spent many years as a GP Clinical Editor for Clinician Assist WA (formerly HealthPathways WA), helping improve access to and awareness of healthcare pathways. I hold strong interests in women’s health, mental health, public health, and sexual health—areas that reflect my passion for patient-centered care and health equity for vulnerable populations.

I am a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and hold a Masters in Public Health, a Masters of Occupational and Environmental Health, and a Vocational Diploma in Women’s Health.

It is a privilege to travel to Quairading and other rural and remote towns in my role, where I value the deep connections I form while making a meaningful impact.
Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my young family and am an enthusiastic yet not particularly fast swimmer. These personal pursuits bring balance to my professional life, enabling me to bring my best self to those I serve.
